I was thinking for a while about taking shots while riding a bike. This morning I mentioned to Matt that it would be a cool thing to do it on Father's Day. Few hours later on a "nice" humid Wisconsin afternoon off we went on the Bugline for the photoshoot.
It was a perfect setup for that type of shots - narrow bike road surrounded by trees. I did not realize how difficult it would be to capture the motion on the camera. First of all, I am "slightly" out of shape and after a few tries of reaching a sonic speed on my bike to get blurred motion I got pretty tired. Second of all, it was very difficult to keep the camera steady to get the bike sharp and everything else in motion. Here are the results of our efforts.
All shot, except last three, were taken with a small p&s Canon Powershot A570IS. Credit goes to Matt for taking the last shot.

This one looks pretty surreal and makes me dizzy. It looks like heavily Photoshoped, but it isn't. Just a touch of vibrance and that's what I got.
